Mobile Miss Vivi

Vivi is fully mobile now: crawling, pulling up on everything and everyone and now cruising along the couch and around the coffee table. She is quite proud of herself!

Fancy Cinderella Dress

Grandma Ona brought Lilly a fancy Cinderella dress a few days ago, she loves getting all dressed up fancy!

The Fair

We took at trip to a tiny county fair a few weeks ago with Grandma Ona and Papa, the girls LOVED it!

Afterwards we stopped at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery on the way back. The girls enjoyed feeding the fish.

Simba Theme Dresses

Lillian is obsessed with Simba and the Lion King. She was thrilled when Grandmommy gave them these matching Zoo themed dresses. The moment they come out of the dryer she wants to wear them again!

Big Kid Puzzle

Lilly did a 100 piece puzzle (with lots of help) for the first time. She was very motivated to finish it because it had a princess fairy picture. She was very proud of herself!

Vivian and my parents' dog Bella both couldn't resist the opportunity to beg for cheese.

Trying To Escape

The girls get easily impatient when I have to collect all the stuff prior to leaving the house. They were ready to go to the park this day (despite the lack of shoes!) and Lilly kept trying to open the door to let Vivi out. 

Vivi got tired of waiting longer than 10 seconds and crawled away to find something to use to stand up.

First Haircut For Vivi

Vivi needed a haircut and Grandma Ona was glad to put her beauty salon skills to work to help! Vivi was not an easy client! She moved constantly but the hair is out of her eyes now so mission accomplished!

Lilly also got a back to school trim, they go back to daycare in a few weeks and Lilly is SO ready!! She is stocked up on tutus and leggings since she is still "Tutu Lilly" and can't wait to go back!

Why She Needed a Haircut

Vivian waking up with the poof hair do and lots of hair in her eyes. She was due for her first haircut!

Bike Riding

We went on our first whole family biking trip but didn't make it very far. Vivi SCREAMED the whole way! Lilly kind of tried to help her but mostly got annoyed and told her "It Bikes Vivi" in an effort to get Vivi to suck it up, quiet down and enjoy the ride. The bike path near our house has been extended to reach another path so we could go for long rides but probably not until next spring unless we want to endure lots of screaming on the way.

This picture was taken BEFORE the ride started. When we got home her face was red and covered with tears and Lilly was pretty irritated with her. Hopefully next year they will both be smiling at the end of some nice bike rides.

Playroom Fun

Lilly at work in her play kitchen. She likes to pretend to cook stuff because Vivi will actually pretend to eat it with great enthusiasm.

Standing Up In Her Crib!

Vivi cannot contain her excitement about the fact that she can stand up in her crib (as well as chew on it). Lilly helped her celebrate the new milestone.

I am SO BIG!

I stand up and say "Mama" and giggle when she comes into check on me.. or I get stuck and cry for help to sit back down only to do it AGAIN!

 I do this for a half hour straight before going to bed now.. SO MUCH FUN!

I Pull Up On EVERYTHING

Vivi now army crawls around and pulls up on everything, anything or anyone available. She just loves to stand! Such a BIG baby!

Baby Beethoven

Vivi LOVES playing the little mini piano. Lilly didn't give it much attention but Vivi thinks it is SO funny. There are even times when Vivi plays and Lilly sings or dances. Such a funny and cute big baby! Not to mention her crazy hair just flops around as she plays and makes her look very passionate about the music she is creating.

Tortilla Face

One day at lunch time Vivi got a tortilla stuck to her face (yes we feed her without clothes because she is seriously the messiest eater ever, she is very into textures and smearing food on her clothes).

Poor baby had NO idea she had some stuck to her face.

Lilly thought it was one of the funniest things Vivi has ever done and decided to join her (and also ripped up her food to eat like a baby too).

Look Ma, No Diaper

No picture... just a funny story...

It was warm and I was short on time to get the two girls down for their nap so I put Vivi down in just a diaper. As I was tucking Lilly in, Vivi let out the wildest, loudest giggle ever over the monitor. We rushed in to check on her and she had taken her diaper off and was waving it around and taking breaks to chew on it. Luckily it was still clean and there were no messes to clean up but she really earned some cool kid points with Lilly. Lilly thought it was the funniest thing Vivian has ever done and couldn't stop laughing about it. Both girls had a fit of giggles together and would not calm down for a nap easily and Lilly still talks about how vivi took off her diaper "all by herself and her wanna eat it too!"

Watching Lion King!

Lilly was thrilled when Grandma Ona found a copy of the Lion King on ebay for her. She was SO excited to cuddle with her lions and watch the movie.

Vivi got ahold of a stray lion and enjoyed chewing on it while her sister was distracted by the movie. Such a naughty little smile! She knows when she is up to no good!
