Home Again! Home Again!

We are so happy to be home again! We have been sticking around the house mostly with some outings to mommy and baby group and to the gym but other than that just being home bodies. But even staying home is non-stop excitement. Lilly is a VERY BUSY baby! We have also been staying inside due to the extreme heat we have been having. We are so glad we have AC this summer.

She is obsessed with dogs and cats and goes crazy when she sees one. She giggles, screams with joy, jumps up and down and flaps her arms. She is thrilled to have her own puppies to watch. She was screaming with delight watching them play outside.

She can crawl but has delicate knees so mostly she scoots around on her bottom.

Mommy Baby Group

This summer we are able to go to Mommy Baby group events. It is so fun to see the babies as they grow and change. Lilly loves playing with other kids and is very active.

Summer Beach Trip

Last weekend we went to the beach to stay in the family beach house. Unfortunately I had a terrible case of food poisoning (possibly from my own cooking) so there won't be any pictures of me in this post! Other than that we had a nice relaxing time and we escaped a few days of the terrible heat wave we have been having here.

Lawrence Mexico Trip

We just got back from a week in Mexico with most of the Lawrence side of the family. Lilly is pretty little so we spent most of the time in the air conditioned penthouse because it was so hot and humid there. Still it was a nice trip. Lilly and Jade got to spend some time together too. Here are some of the pictures.

Siena and More - Last Post This Trip

We are down to our last few days until we head home. Traveling with Lilly was a lot harder than we expected! We didn't make it to the Cinque Terre... the additional train ride was too much to take on... hopefully someday we will make it there! We needed a lot more down time than we had expected. We go to the Amalfi coast and then we will be in Rome for the last little bit of our trip. We are not looking forward to the plane ride home, hopefully it will go quickly and she will sleep more than the plane ride here. This summer will probably be our last time traveling long distance for a few years.

These all loaded in reverse order and three of them loaded twice and I cannot delete them.

We had a local lady my parents have befriended come and make a traditional Umbrian dinner, Lilly slept through some of it. She is so cute, despite the caked on sunscreen on her head.

The last few days of our time at the Villa the Wilson family came and joined us. Lilly loves their two daughters Kenzie and Lydia. Here they are in the pool.

Lilly In Pisa

Pisa was a fast trip due to the heat. These all loaded in reverse order too.

Lilly In Lucca and More

We took a train trip to Lucca and Pisa a few days ago. These are in reverse order and we didn't end up with many pictures of Lucca because our camera died during the train trip, but Lucca was beautiful!

In Lucca Lilly started doing the cutest thing, she would do alert screams any time she saw a dog, pidgeon or another baby or child. It was pretty funny.

Here we are ready to take on a 5 hour train trip with a 9 month old... kind of crazy of us! She loved being on the train with all the people but quickly tired of having to sit on the train.

This is not in Lucca, this is in Todi (a small hill town near the villa) but we couldn't resist sharing our trek up the steep hill!

Lilly In Venice

Ryan and I got a night to ourselves while Lilly hung out with her grandparents in Venice and took a really nice Gondola ride.
