Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a nice laid back rest of the holiday weekend all home together. It was nice to take some time away from our usual fast-paced week days! The girls watched way too much T.V., ate too much junk and spent large portions of the days in their pajamas. This day Vivi woke up from her nap to discover Daddy napping and Lilly watching cartoons. She immediately said "I snuggle too!" and made herself comfortable. Notice Lilly is still in her pjs and it was about 3pm. Yep, we were lazy! Hope everyone had a nice long weekend that wasn't too hectic!

Thanksgiving

There are so many things we have to be thankful for this year! We enjoyed two Thanksgiving get togethers (but only remembered to take pictures at one of them). I am still very thankful I haven't been asked to host and cook all the main dishes! Here are a few pictures of our lovely little ladies (and one hillariously awful attempt at a family photo) on Thanksgiving this year.

Our little miss Viv, she was so proud of how pretty she was this year!

Lilly doing her "dance stance" with her hands on her hips in her favorite hot pink dress that has sequins, ruffles, a flower and a diamond IN the flower. She would wear this dress every day if allowed. It is everything she likes all rolled into one dress.

The girls discovered my Uncle Dale's unique pot, they though the baby doll head was SO funny!

Our little girls, the best picture of the two of them together we could manage.

Our little family, the other semi-normal group pictures were blurry so I figured why not go with the super crazy one. Believe it or not we did this picture early on in the evening before mass quantities of sugar were consumed.. but they still get all nuts when we try to take family pictures. But that is who they are, cute, precious and a little on the crazy side!

Halloween Fun!

Well I intended to do separate posts but instead here is a collection of a bunch of pictures from Halloween.

Ryan's Darth Vader pumpkin (the only picture I managed to take).

Lilly as a dancing princess (she wouldn't wear her Halloween costume because it was ONLY for Halloween) at a neighborhood Halloween party.

She thought the life-sized Toy Story doll was someone dressed up in costume.

Vivi was less than thrilled by all the strange costumes and spooky decorations at the Halloween party.

She clung to Daddy most of the time.

After awhile she did explore a little, cute little kitty holding her "meow, meow" for security.

The girls ready for pajama day at daycare on Halloween.

Tinkerbell Flying on Hallween night.

Little sweet Tinkerbell ready for Trick or Treating.

Han Solo and Princess Leia (yes I got talked into these costumes this year!)

We did have a lot of fun dressing up too this year.

Vivi as princess Merida enjoying some candy before Trick or Treating.

Trick or Treating Finally Arrived and Lilly was beyond excited. Vivi was overwhelmed by the crowds of people. We get over 1,000 trick or treaters in our neighborhood each year so its pretty busy.

Princess Vivi needed to be held most of the time but liked getting candy. After each house she would show me her candy and ask, "it mines?"

Lilly was not slowed down by the crowds at all, she was in her element!

The Rogers' boys enjoying their Light Sabers when we took breaks between houses.

Posing in front of the Haunted House.

Enjoying some chocolate frosting after we got home.

It was obvious Tinkerbell had had too much sugar when she started running around with a giant weapon.
