Christmas Candids

We had a hard time keeping up with our busy toddler and take lots of quality pictures. Here are some pictures we did manage to take of all of our family Christmas celebrations. We had wonderful Christmas Eve, Christmas and post Christmas celebrations. We are very fortunate to have so many wonderful family and friends! We were very spoiled by so many lovely things and such quality time together!

Lilly's Christmas Hightlights

Besides all the wonderful gifts Lilly is playing with and loving there were a few fun Christmas events that seemed to be Lilly's favorites.

Running and screaming with Eli outside on the deck.

More running and screaming with cousins and friends.

Even more running and screaming. The kids just couldn't get enough. Eventually we had to bundle them up in coats they wanted to stay outside for so long.

Climbing up stairs with Eli and by herself.

Opening and closing the curtains.

But the most fun was the arrival of the Christmas Dog. My brother and his girlfriend gave my parents a puppy for Christmas. Lilly was so excited about the new puppy! She just couldn't get enough of it. Although her intentions were good she was still pretty rough with her.

This pictures sums up most of her Christmas evening. Trying so desperately to get close to the Christmas Pup.

First Ponytail

A few weeks ago Lilly came home from daycare with her first pony tail! Every day after nap time they do the little girls' hair. For months they have been pretending to do Lilly's hair and afterwards she would walk around very proud of herself. She came home VERY proud of her little pony tail and often wants to sit in my lap to have her hair done now. I have no idea how to get a pony tail into tiny amount of hair!

On a side note Lilly LOVES the little girls in her daycare class. There are three of them that are really close. She has even started to say their names! They call the three of them the "Giggle Girls" because they are hyper and happy.

Can you spot the tiny pony tail in the picture???

Baby of Christmas Past

We were organizing our pictures from last year and had to share one of Lilly from around Christmas time last year. We can't believe how big she has gotten in just one year. She is such a wonderful child. So sweet and so fun! We are so happy and blessed to have such a darling little girl!

Tis the Season

Here is a silly picture of Lilly while she "helped" us decorate the house for Christmas. She has chocolate all over her face from the chocolate of the day she gets in her Advent calendar. Lilly is loving the Christmas Season!

Blankie and Baby

Lilly has recently picked her favorite security blanket and become very attached to her baby doll as well. We think it is very sweet that out of all the blankets she owns she chose the blanket Grandmona knitted for her.

Here she is getting baby ready for bed. She brushed baby's teeth and wraps her in the blanket over and over again. Then baby and blankie must also go to bed with Lilly where she snuggles with them until they fall asleep.

She also likes to read books to baby "reading" the words out loud to her as part of the bedtime routine.

Santa Baby

We took Lilly to see Santa last weekend.

She wasn't afraid and actually smiled!

My friend Katie and her husband Kevin joined us and brought their adorable son Cole. It was pretty hard to get a picture of the two kids looking at the camera, this is the best we could do!

Christmas Cookies

Last weekend Lilly pulled the cookie cutters out of the cupboard right after feasting on homemade sugar cookies her grandma made for our tree hunt. She was ready to make her own sugar cookies from scratch! Now she would like to make sugar cookies every night! Here are some pictures of our cookie making and decorating.

Oh Christmas Tree Part 2

We put up our pretty tree and had fun putting a few decorations on it with a whole bottom section for lilly to play with. Today she even put her shoe on the tree to decorate it. Here are some cute pictures of her decorating.

Oh Christmas Tree

It is already mid-December and we have so much we haven't posted for this month! Not sure where to start so we will start with our Christmas Tree Hunt. We went with the Wagoner side of the family to hunt down a good tree.

Lilly found one she liked.

Ready to cut down a big tree.

Trying to get down to explore the tree lot.

Walking all around.

My brother Travis and his girlfriend Ashley.

Celebrating finding a good tree with some hot cocoa and homemade sugar cookies Grandma made.

Sugar Cookies - one of Lilly's favorite parts of the holiday season. Even with her mouth full of cookie she still managed to point at the cookie platter and say "more."

Beautiful Black and White Pictures

These are some precious black and white photos taken by a black and white specialty photographer in Portland. My parents treated us to a photo session and pictures by her. They show such a precious side of our little girl.
