Camping Trip - Fun Day, Really Rough Night!

We made an attempt at camping for the first time with Lilly with the Lawrences, Rogers and Hehrs. Although Lilly had a blast during the day the night time was awful! There was a lot of crying, some puking and overall a not so good experience. And camping while in 3rd trimester of pregnancy.. also not recommended! We only made it one night... maybe next year will go better.

Cousin Jade Visits!

Cousin Jade and Aunt Nikki came to visit last week. Lilly had so much fun with Jade! She loves little girls that are just a little bit older. She loved copying Jade, following her around and playing with her. After awhile when we arrived at Ryan's parents' house Lilly would shout "My Jade!"  Here are some shots of the silly girls in the hot tub together. It was hard to get them to pose for pictures!

Getting Ready For A Baby Sister

Lilly is really into taking care of her baby dolls. She likes to arrange them, cover them with blankets, rock them, sing to them, bathe the waterproof one and take them everywhere with her. This particular day she collected all the babies in the house and put them down for "night night" over and over again. She likes to sing to her babies but doesn't like it when I sing to her. I am always told "no mama" when I try to sing her a lullaby. I can't believe Lilly is almost 2 already and her little sister will be here in less than 2 months! She will be a great big sister!

First Haircut

Lilly finally has some hair and needed her first "haircut" Her Grandma trimmed her bangs for the first time this summer. I noticed later Lilly had raspberry juice on her chin, there were no injuries made during her haircut. She did pretty well! She is becoming such a big kid!
