Our Snow Day Activites

Now that we are finally getting out of the house again, we wanted to look back on everything we did during our snow days!

Lillian is not a fan of the cold winter weather we are having so we spent most of the past week and a half inside. So we had to find some things to do to pass the time.


We spent most of our days in pajamas taking it easy.


Lillian rode on Logan's back. He was thrilled!

We watched Lucy go outside over and over again, she loves the snow!

We giggled, talked and played a lot. She played patty-cake and peek-a-boo for the first times!

Lilly watched the train go around the track over and over.

And waited patiently for it to come back when it went out of sight.

Lilly liked to wear Daddy's hat around the house! It goes great with her favorite bunny pajamas! So stylish!


When we were bored of everything else we walked laps around the house and took breaks to watch the snow fall and Lilly loved to play with the blinds.

We also took some naps, although not as many as we needed!

Have A Merry Christmas Eve!

Lilly wants to wish you and yours a very merry Christmas Eve!!

Here she is in one of our favorite winter outfits she has. We better snap some pictures of her quick in all her other winter outfits since she is growing by the minute! We will have a White Christmas this year! It is snowing like crazy here, beautiful to watch as it comes down! The snowman on her shirt is the only one Lilly will be getting close to this Christmas since she is not thrilled with the cold weather!

Some Bunny Loves Lilly!

Lillian has a bunny that we have been trying to get her to snuggle with and she is starting to get a little attached to it. It has a blanket at the bottom and a cute bunny head at the top. It seems like a perfect first blanket and it is really cute when she cuddles it and holds on to it. The other day she even giggled at it! If she gets attached we will have to go buy a bunch and store them for future days when the first one eventually gets lost.

Here she is with her bunny. Her pajamas also have bunnies on the feet she likes to grab at and a snowflake pattern to celebrate the continuation of the snow.

Lucy and Lilly Are The Same Size!!

We noticed today that Lucy and Lilly are about the same size. Since we know Lilly will pass her by soon we wanted to get some pictures of them together.

At first Lucy just wanted to lick Lilly.

Then they were both a little reluctant to take pictures.


So tiring to take pictures!

Christmas Dogs!

Lillian's grandparents visited and brought her a Christmas Dachshund.
Lillian was interested in the new puppy!

She liked to chew it's ears.

And cuddle it close.

And try to grab it's tail when it wagged.

Then suddenly there were two puppies, one that was trying to lick her too! Lucy was also curious about the new doggy in the house!

Flashback Friday!

We saw on our relative's blog (Kevin and Devin's) that they did a flashback friday and since Lillian turned 3 months old this week we thought it would be a good time to look back and reflect on how tiny she was!

She is getting so long and is filling out so much more now! And her personality is just starting to really come through. She is smiling, giggling, playing and even angry tantrum screaming every once in awhile! We are so in love with her, she is precious, lovely and so much fun!! Here are some pictures of her when she was tiny, just home from the hospital! She has changed so much!


A few days old from the hospital, now she no longer needs the inner headrest and the car seat straps have been adjusted many times!

Walking In A Winter Wonderland

Lillian went for a VERY sort walk yesterday and experienced snow for the first time. She even licked a snowflake that landed on her lip. But mostly she stuck her tongue out and held her breath when the wind hit her face. She was pretty miserable so we quickly headed back inside.

The best part is Lillian's mommy has to go back to work this week and got an extra snow day off with her! But Lillian's daddy had to work even more since it was a snow day. At least he will get to stay home the rest of the week with her!

Grandmommy's Outfit

Lillian's Grandmommy Raynette made her a beautiful handmade outfit and blanket before Lillian was born. She took the blanket with her during all of her travels to work on it. The blanket when to Russia, Mexico and across the USA. We hope Lillian will enjoy traveling too!

Grandpa's Birthday!

We celebrated Lillian's Grandpa's birthday over the weekend. We had lots of fun spending time with family and friends there and her Grandpa Mike got lots of time to snuggle her, the best birthday gift!!

Visiting With Family

Ryan's siblings came into town over the weekend and they were able to meet Lillian for the first time. Luckily everyone else took more pictures than we did (we stopped taking pictures after the first few minutes... something about a new baby causes us to get distracted) and we were able to "borrow" pictures from them to complete our post. We look forward to seeing all of them again during the holidays and for her to meet her cousins Skylar and Londyn.

The visit ended with wild time at a tiny German restaurant. Good food, time together and LOTS of baby and kid crying and screaming to complete the ambiance.

Lillian had a little too much fun that night and finished it off with a good cry.
