Car Seat Tickle Sessions

Lilly just can't wait to get her hands on the baby so whenever Vivian is in the car seat and available on the floor she attacks her with tickles and lots of love.

Vivian is actually enjoying it for a little while.

Then a concerned baby face and toddler face that tells me Lilly is probably up to no good.\

Poor Vivian is still pretty concerned even though Lilly is showing me she is not touching the baby.

And a sweet baby smile despite being bugged by her big sister.

Pretty Sure This Wasn't The Baby's Idea

Lilly was kind of tattling/ wanting me to check out the fact that the baby took her phone and was talking on it... I am pretty sure Vivian was not the mastermind behind this situation!

Potty Humor

Lilly loves all things potty humor. She recently ordered a "poop sandwich" at a restaurant, asked for "cereal in pee pee" for breakfast and will randomly shout out "poop" to get a laugh. Today she even sang the word "poop" over and over again to the tune of "Elmo's Song." I am thrilled she is potty training so well and find her sense of humor pretty funny but should discourage the potty humor more than I do!

Gingerbread Houses

The Rogers organized an awesome gingerbread house decorating party a few weeks ago. Lilly had so much fun and always loves playing with the Rogers' boys! She enjoyed eating the candy and frosting more than decorating and afterwards the kids played independently for a long time, it was wonderful!

Vivian mostly slept and ate during it all but broke out a few smiles for her Dada!

Decorating The Christmas Tree

Our tree WAS fully decorated... now Lilly has taken off most of the ornaments she can access. Here are some pictures of the kids taking part in decorating the tree.

Christmas Tree Hunt

Our annual Christmas Tree Hunt went well this year! Vivian slept the whole time and Lilly was reluctant to pose for pictures but we got a good tree and had a good time!

Breakfast With Santa

We enjoyed a low-key breakfast with Santa at the Portland Children's Museum last weekend followed by a ton of playtime at the museum afterwards. Lilly was very excited to see Santa again and clearly repeated her request for a "meow meow" again. Vivian was chill and enjoyed her visit with Santa too!

Lilly's Solo Santa Visit

Lilly went to see Santa with my parents all by herself and all dressed up in her hot pink princess Christmas dress. She LOVES Santa this year! She asked Santa for a "meow meow" and was disappointed that the "meow meow" was not immediately present at her house when she got home. She spent a good chunk of time searching the house asking "Where he put it?" "It no by my tree." We hope Lilly will be happy with the toy "meow meow" Santa will bring for Christmas since we are too allergic to real "meow meows." Either way she was so cute all excited and dressed up!

Vivian In GrandMommy's Outfit

GrandMommy Raynette knitted Vivian a darling hat, sweater, blanket and booties! We had some cute pictures taken of her last time we went to see our favorite photographer. She is growing so fast and looking so cute!

6 Weeks And Smiling

Vivian is 6 weeks old already and starting to coo and smile so much! Here are some smiling pictures of her.

Vivian at One Month

Vivian turning one month has come and gone! Life with two kids leaves a lot less time for taking pictures and blogging (as well as cooking, cleaning, sleeping etc etc.) Luckily I did get some pictures of her at a month old but have taken so few pictures of her compared to when Lilly arrived.. I guess that is just what happens to second children!

Here she is at one month old! Check out that hair that would not lay down. Now it is falling out.

If She Only Had A Real Meow Meow

Lilly LOVES cats which she still calls Meow Meows. Ryan and I are both allergic and are not interested in owning a real cat. Plus we have two dogs and a fish already. But that doesn't stop Lilly from loving all things cats. One day while the baby was sleeping behind her she decided she was going to put her little toy cat "night night." She covered it with a blanket, offered it her sippee cup with milk and her binky, sang it some songs of her own creation and then went through her books to find a book with cats to read to it. 

Dance and A Purple Tutu

Lilly's Grandma found her a fancy purple tutu to wear to dance class last weekend. She loves her purple tutu (anything purple really!) although hot pink is starting to take the lead as her new favorite color! 

Little Vivian

Here are some of the pictures of Vivian we had taken to our recent trip to All That Jazz Photography. She has already changed SO much just in the last 2 and a half weeks! We are so glad we were able to get some good pictures of her while she is still tiny!

Over the weekend we went to All That Jazz Photography to have pictures of our lovely little ladies taken. Vivian wasn't as into having her picture taken as we had hoped but we still got some cute shots of the sisters together and some of Vivian all by herself and a TON of pictures of Lilly showing off!
