Lillian's First Thanksgiving!

Lillian has fun at her first Thanksgiving! We gathered as a great group of family and friends to celebrate the season together. Unfortunately with all the excitement we took very few pictures. We had lots of fun and made lots of memories!

We LOVE this photographer, she does an amazing job! Can't wait to go back in a few weeks to do some Christmas pictures!

Heartfelt Goodbye To Lillian Mona's Namesake

Grandmona Lawrence, Lillian Mona's namesake passed away this week.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of such a wonderful person. She was very important to us.
We miss her very much.

We feel very honored to have seen her shortly before she passed away. We had a special and lovely visit with her on Sunday afternoon. She seemed happy visiting with us and enjoying her favorite Burgerville treats we loved to take to her.

She held Lillian and they shared some special moments where Lillian was giggling at Grandmona and smiling at her. Grandmona delighted in her as she wiggled and giggled in her lap. Whenever Lillian wasn't in her lap she looked over at Grandmona whenever she spoke, loving to listen to her voice.

We don't have many pictures of the two of them together, but here are some very special pictures of Grandmona and Lillian when Lillian was born.

Grandmona really wanted to meet Lillian Mona. It was very special of her to come visit her in the hospital and she got to spend a few more visits with her as Lillian grew. She was very pleased that Lillian was born with long fingers and could possibly learn to play the piano if she wants to when she gets older. She was proud we wanted to name Lillian Mona after her. We look forward to telling Lillian Mona all about the strong, independent, kind, loving and endearing woman she is named after.

Lillian's First Real Photo Shoot - 2 Months Old

Lillian is 2 months old today! To celebrate we took her for her first real photo shoot. We are so happy with how the pictures turned out! Here are a few of our favorites of her in her cute little outfit. We will add more favorites as the week goes on of her in other poses.

We went to All That Jazz Photography and highly recommend them! We get to keep all the images and copyright for them. But best off all are all the wonderful pictures we ended up with!
We will treasure them forever!

What is that I see... a little hair... could it be??

Oh me! Oh my! We can't believe our eyes! We have gotten so used to Lillian being bald, her hair grown in caught us by surprise!!

We had wondered.. surely it would be dark... Could it be red? Or would it grow in light instead?

But now it is here we can finally see her hair is exactly the way its supposed to be!!

Yes, Lillian's Mommy has been reading too many Dr. Seuss books to her lately...
that would explain the silly rhymes...
as well as all of Mommy's extra free time.

Lillian At Play

Lillian has started playing with the toys that light up and make noise on her bouncy seat. She gets so excited and happy to see them! She coos happily and flings her little arms and legs all over to try to move the toys by herself. She smiles so big when she looks that them! She also started playing with us, smiling and cooing so sweetly but ultimate winner of her affection is the amazing bouncy seat the makes noises, lights up and vibrates! She loves it!
