I'm Hungry Mommy!

Poor Vivian as the second child sometimes your needs aren't met as quickly as you would like. In this case I was cooking and helping Lilly with something and turned around and Vivian was trying to help herself to her rice cereal.

Gaming Girls

Both Lillian and Vivian love Daddy's games with bright lights for Vivian and princesses (in World of Warcraft) for Lillian. Here they are glued to the computer screen.

More Snow Day Memories!

We couldn't resist building a snowman with beads for eyes, carrot nose and a ribbon for a scarf.

Lilly with her snowman, there wasn't much snow... so he was pretty little.

Vivian gave up after awhile and feel asleep giving us a chance to walk through the winter wonderland to Starbucks for some hot drinks.

Upon returning home we lit a fire, made some popcorn and more hot cocoa and watched a princess movie while Lilly spent most of the day in her princess pajamas. It was a pretty great day!

Snow Day!

We Finally got a little bit of snow on the ground one day! We ventured out in the snow, Lilly was SO excited!

Bow Bonanza

One night Lilly wanted to put on ALL of her bows, she is such a silly little girl!

Big YAWN!

Rice Cereal! Yum!

Vivi has started eating rice cereal. With Lilly it was no food until 6 months (we cheated and gave it to her early) but 2 years later they say 4 months is now the best age. Vivi was more than ready and trying to grab food off plates including a handful of chocolate cake at a party! Such a big girl!

Princess Overload

Lilly has recently become obsessed with princesses and watched Cinderella and Swan Princess for the first time. We made some foam princess wands for all the girls since all her hard plastic wands were starting to smack baby Vivi. Ryan has a Star Wars Light Saber that Lilly calls his wand so he didn't get left out!

Lilly has only seen Swan Princess twice but when I picked her up at daycare yesterday (her first day back) she was orchestrating a re-enactment of a scene in the movie with the other kids in daycare telling them all what to do and dancing and singing as the Swan Princess. 

Check Ups

The girls had their check ups recently and are both healthy and happy. They competed for the doctor's attention the whole visit. Vivian cooed and giggled, Lillian danced and sang and told the doctor that the doctor was a pretty princess and kept saying "I like you doctor!"

They are both tall and fairly lean still. Lillian is 75% in height and 25% in weight. Vivian is 95% in length and 30% in weight but has some good healthy rolls and a great triple chin. Such darling little kids!

Winter Beach Trip

We went to the beach a few weeks ago, it was Vivian's first trip to the beach. She was less than thrilled with the windy cold weather when we went walking to the beach but Lilly could have and would have spent all day there despite the fact her fingers were ice cold! 

The car ride with two kids was a little intense, we had to make a few stops and Lilly didn't sleep at all. The last few minutes they were both screaming and Lilly kept yelling at Vivian "You a boy everyday!" (One of her prime insults) whenever Vivian would cry. But we made it safe and sound and had a nice get away! When we arrived at the beach house Lilly danced and twirled singing "beach house, beach house!"

Helpful Big Sister

Lilly wanted to hold Vivi and told Vivi "You suck on my finger!" What a helpful girl! Super cute despite the crazy bed head hair here!

Lilly decided to decorate herself and Vivi after we returned from a trip one afternoon, it was fun for all!

Back To School

I am back to work and the girls are back to school and overall the transition has been awesome and gone smoothly. Vivian had a couple rough days but is now giggling and talking and smiling at daycare. Lillian couldn't wait to go back to school and told me a few days prior: "I go school, You go work, I be happy, I play my friends and my teachers. I no need you Mama, I LILLY!" No lack of confidence there! 

The first day Lilly settled right in and couldn't wait for me to leave. She kept saying "You go work Mama, You GO work!" When I picked her up she was outside organizing the other kids into a re-enactment of a part of her new favorite movie The Swan Princess while she sang and danced in the middle saying "I the princess!" Obviously not shy and a real take charge gal. 

Playful Little Vivian

Vivian is getting so big and starting to smile, giggle and play so much more! She is just darling!

Sleeping Beauty

Awww... a precious sleeping baby, nothing better! If only she would sleep through the night!
