Dress Up Mania

This summer the girls have been obsessed with playing dress up a few times a day every day. They are pretty good about sharing and playing well together and are just so cute!

Lilly Loves To Accessorize!

A walk to the park sometimes requires extreme accessories for Silly Miss Lilly! I am not sure what is up with this odd pose but she does love to dress up and wear LOTS of Jewlery!

Fourth Of July!

We had a lovely 4th of July this year at Chuck and Billey's annual party, it was lovely as usual!

Vivi loved Deanne's new puppy.

She didn't want to leave it alone.

The only decent picture of our two girls together in their sailor dresses Grandmommy got them.

Sweet Miss Vivi was actually willing to pose for pictures.

Lilly had little interest in pictures, she only wanted to play with the kids and see the deer.

Vivi liked the deer too.

For some reason playing with her own sister wasn't high on her list but she enjoyed playing with baby Brea.

Once the fireworks started Lilly loved them but Vivi was terrified!

So she got to sit with Daddy but spent most of the time hiding her face and cuddling with him.

Cousins - Lightsaber Fights and Play time

During their visit we had lots of play time and down time, it was so fun to see the kids play together.

Ryan brought over his light saber collection and the kids were really into it.

Maybe a little too into it...

Vivi only wanted to play in the little playhouse.

And Lilly tried to organize some other activities too.

And all the kids liked to squeeze into the tiny playhouse together.

Cousins - Ipad Cuddle Time

All the kids (and Uncle Ryan) really enjoyed all the cool things they could do on our new I-Pad. Thanks toRyan and his whole family for all chipping in and getting me the I-Pad, we all love it!

Cousins - Vivi and Lincoln

Vivi really wanted to play with Lincoln constantly. He was not totally into playing with her. He thought she was a bit too much of a baby but she kept trying anyways.

She said "Hi Lincoln" to him constantly unless she was trying to upset him and then she would say "Hi Sissy" or "Hi baby" with a naughty smile because she knew would get a reaction, even if it was a negative one.

Lincoln eventually became fond of her, here he is trying to give her a kiss. He was a pretty good sport for having her try to get in his face a lot of the time.

Cousins - Alliances

During their visit the kids really formed some strong bonds.

Lilly and Skylar bonded over their love for cuddling and watching T.V. together.

Londyn juggled her time between the two toddlers. They both adored her and she was so good with them!

Cousins - Beach Getaway

During their visit we took the Oklahoma cousins to the beach for a couple days. My parents were so generous and let us stay at their beach house. My trip down solo with the two kids was a bit rough including a lot of throwing up on Lilly's part and some fussing from both the girls but we made it. We were blessed with the most beautiful warm weather and the kids had a ton of fun at the beach!

Londyn loved the sun and sand and wasn't afraid to get wet and sandy.

Cousins - Dance Parties

One of the things all the kids loved to do during the visit was to have dance parties. Here are some of the best shots of them dancing around!

Cousins - Group Shots

The Oklahoma Lawrence Family was able to come for a visit to Portland this year and the girls were thrilled to spend some time with their cousins! We loved having time with the family! Here are some attempts at photos with all of them.

Hawaii - Beautiful Views

We had such beautiful views from our condo right on the ocean front, everything there was really nice and the grounds were so lovely too. We had a lovely time in Hawaii and hope to make it back someday!

I just adore this picture of sweet little Vivian watching kids play down below on the grass. She is getting so grown up, silly and cute!

Hawaii - Aquarium Trip

One day we took a trip to the Maui aquarium and the girls loved it!

An attempt at taking a picture with my girls. I don't know why Lilly is making such a sad face but Vivi's little look is so sweet!

They both enjoyed the aquarium so much! Vivi kept giggling and saying "fish" and "wa,wa" or "water" over and over again. Lilly loved the unicorn fish and the sharks.

Chasing Bw-irds, Bw-irds, Bw-irds!

Vivi's favorite thing to do in the mornings in Hawaii, chase "BW-IRDS, BW-IRDS, BW-IRDS!" In fact she really enjoys doing it here at home too. She runs after them and giggles when they fly or hop away and then runs to their new location. She could really do this all day and would probably have ran after them into traffic or into the ocean. 

Hawaii - Downtime

Some of the time we just enjoyed some down time in the condo playing, eating junk food and watching cartoons. When traveling with kids lots of downtime is important!
