As Lilly gets more and more skilled with talking and has a bigger vocabulary she has learned to branch out to using insults. As a parent it is really awkward when she says something mean or inappropriate in public! Here are are some of the funniest or most awkward moments we have had and some other of her most common insults she uses:
1.) She loves to tell her sister "You a boy" whenever Vivian is getting too much attention for being cute. Lilly thinks it is the ultimate insult!
2.) She recently told a little girl at library story time "You yucky" I tried to salvage the situation and said "She is LUCKY" but Lilly would not be misunderstood. She took out her binky and loudy said "No, her YYYYUUUCKY!" The girl was not yucky at all and was quite adorable but Lilly was jealous because Vivian was smiling at her.
3.) Just yesterday at Starbucks she loudly stated that the woman in front of us had a "BIG bum" Although this was a true statement it was still very awkward and trying to explain why we don't say things like that about people was too abstract for her to understand.
