Lilly is trying so hard to show us that she thinks she is ready for some of that really interesting stuff we put into our mouths. It is getting harder and harder to eat in front of her. Plus she is always trying to grab our food too. Here she is showing off her skills with an empty spoon. Supposedly we are supposed to wait until 6 months to feed her real food but we might have to cave in early. She just seems so ready!

I soooo totally know what you mean! DJ seemed ready a bit early, but I was able to hold off until after he turned 6 months. But Jessica, well.... I started her a week early... Hold off as long as you can. Once they start eating they never stop! haha! But don't worry if you cave in early. We are certainly having fun with it. ^-^
P.S. Are you guys planning to make your own baby food?? I did and it was (and is) SUCH a blessing! Let me know and also if you need any tips... ;) It can be pretty easy if you know how to make it that way...
