Lots of Fun At The Park

This spring the girls want to go straight to the park every day after school whenever the weather is decent. They are both getting pretty good at doing everything by themselves which is so nice for us!

 

 

A VERY Belated St. Patrick's Assortment of Photos

This year to celebrate St. Patrick's Day we had a leprechaun that visited and played tricks on the girls. I thought they would enjoy it like how they adored Chippy The Elf On The Shelf. But since day one started with him leaving green pee in their toilet Lilly was hesitant to try the green dyed toothpaste and milk and told her teachers at school we had a "Bathroom Leper" that came into her house at night. At the end of the week the "Bathroom Leper" did leave chocolate coins hidden around the house and the girls hunted for them with the Rogers' boys so I guess it was a positive memory after all... hopefully they won't have nighmares about the mysterious "Bathroom Leper."

Fairy Gardens

Well I finally back to writing blog posts. The past few months have been busy but summer and easier days ar right around the corner. The girls are getting big and are up to all sorts of adorable things these days. Everything is very magical for them at these ages.

 

This spring we planted and decorated a bunch of fairy gardens to invite the fairies to come live in our yard. The girls were very excited and into everything! We are so fortunate to have such a nice creek area in our back yard and will have a lot of fun down there this summer!

Florida Trip: New Years Eve!

We spent new years eve in the magic kingdom, it was crowded but fun! At night everything became very magical and we got a great spot to watch the electric parade and fireworks.

 

 

 

 

For some reason I struggle with using out camera flash so this is the best picture we got, cuddling with a very tired Vivi as we waited for the parade to start.

Florida Trip: Parades

We got to see a few awesome parades during out time at the different parks.

 

 

Had to keep Vivi on a leash so she wouldn't join in the parades or get lost in the post parade crowds.

Florida Trip: Down Time

We didn't have a lot of down time during the trip but when we did the kids had fun together!

Florida Trip: Pictures with Characters

The girls (especially Vivi) really liked posing with characters during out trip. Lilly pointed out that she knew they weren't real and there was a person inside a costume for some of them. But she still liked them all the same.
