Advent Gifts

My parents went above and beyond this year with the advent gifts for the girls. Every day the girls have gotten to open matching or coordinated gifts and they have been so excited about it. All the gifts have been so nice and fit their interests perfectly! Their Grandma and Papa went to A LOT of work and the girls have loved every second of it!

Brunch With Santa

Last Weekend we went to the best brunch with Santa! It was so much fun and the girls loved showing off their fancy dresses!

Vivi immediately cuddling, Lilly was too busy running around.

Sitting with Santa, Vivi took some convincing and had to sit on my Mom's lap at first.

Lilly was SUPER excited!!

Vivi was finally convinced after seeing Lilly get candy from Santa and decided a piece of candy was worth it!

Both our sweeties with Santa.

Both girls with the Wagoner side of the family. This was the best picture I could get of both of them with my family, they move too fast!

Both girls really enjoyed the crazy amount of sweets at the buffet, especially the tree cake pops and chocolate fountain.

Vivi was beyond happy about all the goodies.

Crazy happy chocolate face!

Lilly admiring the river front view.

Vivi enjoyed looking at the ducks and boats that were right outside!

While the girls were looking out the river Santa came to visit them again.

Lilly with her crazy smile.

Decorating Our Tree

Getting the girls to wear their cute elf pajamas and pose in front of the tree was almost impossible! They just wanted to run around, dance and be crazy. So these were the best pictures we could get after many tries!

Vivi checking out the tree.

Trying to get a picture of Vivi in front of the tree before she ran off.

Finally a sweet pose from Miss Viv.

Hot cocoa and candy canes, yum!

Vivi focused on the tree, working hard with her tongue out for concentration. She put all her ornaments on the same branch.

Lilly was more into decorating the tree this year.

Team work, cute girls and a well decorated tree!

Second Santa Sighting

After getting our tree we happened upon a Santa at the Downtown Gresham Historical Society and No LINE! Next year we are going to take the girls there in their fancy dresses to see Santa! My parents saw the Santa first and told him the girls would be coming by soon. Santa knew their names, it was beyond exciting for Lilly but freaked Vivi out!

Lilly with Santa who knew her name!

Vivi wasn't into Santa but liked the Christmas Cow at the Local Cow Restaurant where we went for lunch.

Christmas Tree Hunt

It was a pretty quick hunt this year which left lots of time for hot cocoa and cookies!

Lilly loved the field with all the baby trees.

She is so into doing this odd super forced smile now, silly girl!

Vivi voted for this tree.

They both agreed this was the smallest baby tree.

Our tree, Vivi didn't want to pose in the picture without her beloved "Papa."

Cookie time! My Mom went to a crazy amount of work making and decorating lots of yummy cookies!

Vivi's favorite things, cookies and being held by her Papa.

Hot cocoa time and a silly extreme smile for miss Lilly.

Tree Lighting Ceremony

Okay, I am finally getting around to posting all the December themed stuff! This was much earlier in the month when we went to the City of Fairview's Tree Lighting Ceremony and the girls got to see the first Santa of the season. Usually we forget to check for when the ceremony will be and notice a few days later that we missed it but thanks to some very nice neighbors that have a daughter Vivi's age we found out about it and went with them. The girls got to ride in their wagon decorated with Christmas lights, they were pretty excited!

Vivi all bundled up and ready to go with her favorite well-loved stuffed animal "Meow, Meow"

What a super smiley little bug!

Lilly bundled up and ready to go too.

Lilly was excited to see Santa but forgot to ask for what she wanted for Christmas.

Vivi was terrified of Santa but we tried to get her to sit on his lap...
