Bugs = Bubbles, Toddler's Take On Life

No pictures this time. Just a Lilly's take on the world. It is so adorable how simply and happily Lilly views the world around her. Yesterday at the park there was a big swarm of bugs hanging around above a patch of grass. Lilly spotted them and happily squealed "bubbles!" and would stop every once and awhile to point at them and say "bubbles!" Luckily she was too distracted by the kids and the park to go over and try to play with the "bubbles" to find out what they really were! We contine to be amazed by this sweet and adorable little girl!

Oklahoma Trip Revisited - We Got Our Camera Back!!!

Luckily we were able to get our camera back that we left on the airplane so we are able to share some of the cute pictures we took while in Oklahoma visiting Ryan's brother's family and his sister and her daughter that joined us there.

This picture is from our first day there, Ryan cuddling with Londyn, Skylar, Lilly and little Lincoln.

Baby Number Two!

Lilly is going to be a big sister somewhere around October 15th! We are very excited to add to our little family. Lilly is a darling child! Here she is holding the first pictures of her little brother or sister and practicing her baby holding skills. She loves babies and baby dolls, hopefully she will be as receptive to a real baby that comes home to stay.

Easter Day

Happy Easter! There are a BUNCH of posts below, so scroll down to see all we have been up to. Lots of catching up on all the Easter Stuff we have been doing this week. What a busy week!

Today we spent Easter with the Lawrences, Rogers and a family from the Lawrence's church who have 3 sons and a daughter a few days apart from Lilly. Lilly and the other little girl Alora were both wearing the same easter dress by chance. Grandmommy and Grandaddy Lawrence gave Lilly hers and the two girls just happened to be dressed alike. Lilly loved being dressed up in her adorable dress. She really likes to be dressed up now. I wouldn't be surprised if one of her next words is "dress"

Lilly enjoying another (much dryer) egg hunt.

Very busy egg hunt.

Taking in all the excitement.

Getting into the hunt.

The girls hunting together.

The girls enjoying some of the candy they found.

The girls playing the piano.

All three toddlers playing some easter tunes (Lilly multitasking by taking a milk break too).

Muddy Egg Hunt

Fairview has an annual egg hunt in the park. We didn't take Lilly last year because she was so little but this year she was ready! She loves her purple basket and had been practicing for over a week putting eggs around the house and picking them up.
Unfortunately the event said it went from 10-1 and I assumed egg hunts went all day long. We arrived 5 minutes after 10 and the toddler hunt was already over. We had to go in the with bigger kids but Lilly loved it all the same!

Waiting to get started.

Really excited by all the action, she just froze, we were over in the corner to avoid all the big kids. There were hundreds if not a thousand eggs everywhere... it wasn't really a hunt, more of a mad dash.

Getting into it near the end.

So much fun!

So many people! She loves crowds!

Waiting in line to collect a special prize she won in her egg, she was hoping for a stuffed animal but got a gift certificate instead.

Easter Baskets

Again... loaded in reverse order.
Since Lilly loved dressing up in her easter dress we let her wear it for opening up her easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa Wagoner. Afterwards she didn't want to take it off!

Happy that we allowed her to keep wearing the dress since she was goofing around for pictures.

A sad look and a quiet "no" when told we had to take her dress off to get ready for the mud bath egg hunt. We were going to let her wear her dress but it was so wet and muddy out. We are glad we didn't, we all came home with mud more or less up to our ankles and all over our clothes.

Checking out the loot!

A "dog!"

Starting to take stuff out of her basket.

Easter Cookies

Again, loaded in reverse order....
We baked sugar cookies and decorated them. Lilly was very into the process this time!

Enjoying her cookie.

Frosting face.

Frosting is the best part.
